Infrastructure Logistics
Oversized Transport & Project Cargo

Infrastructure projects involve multiple contractors, transport interfaces and operational milestones. Logistics therefore needs to be coordinated with the wider project schedule rather than managed as an isolated transport activity.
Eastship works with project owners, EPC contractors, construction companies, engineering teams and other project stakeholders to align logistics activities with site readiness, installation sequences and delivery schedules.
Our in-house teams coordinate the interfaces between engineering, freight forwarding, transport, port operations, permits, cargo handling and site activities, allowing logistics requirements to be incorporated into the project planning from an early stage.
This approach is particularly relevant when infrastructure projects involve multiple cargo movements, different transport modes or deliveries to sites with restricted access and demanding operational conditions.

From Project Planning to Site Delivery

Infrastructure project logistics begins long before the cargo reaches the road. Each movement is assessed according to the cargo dimensions and weight, route conditions, infrastructure limitations, project schedule and site requirements.

Our teams coordinate the complete logistics process, including:

  • Route surveys and transport engineering

  • Heavy and oversized transport

  • Special transport permits and regulatory coordination

  • Road, sea and inland waterway transport

  • Multimodal project logistics

  • Port operations, cargo handling and storage

  • Barge chartering and transshipment

  • Lifting, unloading, jacking and skidding

  • Temporary infrastructure and route interventions

  • Final delivery and positioning at the project site

Integrated Infrastructure Logistics Across Europe and Worldwide

Eastship's infrastructure logistics capabilities extend beyond Romania. Our own specialized fleet operates in Romania and neighboring countries, while our international partner network enables us to coordinate heavy and oversized cargo movements across Europe and worldwide.

Regardless of the project location, logistics activities are coordinated in-house, providing a single point of coordination between engineering, transport, freight forwarding, permits, cargo handling and site operations.

By combining own equipment, in-house engineering and project management capabilities with an international network of specialized partners, Eastship can develop and coordinate infrastructure logistics solutions adapted to the specific requirements of each project, from individual transport operations to complex multimodal movements.
