We offer protective agency both for shipowners and charterers/cargo owners to supervise the counterparty’s agent throughout the port call. As protective agents we ensure that your interests are well taken care of. This helps you avoid any conflict of interest that may arise with many stakeholders involved in a port call. As your protective agent, we ensure the following services are carried out to protect your ship:
- Scrutinize the PDA to negotiate better rates and suggest better alternatives when relevant
- Monitor local port rules and restrictions and advise accordingly
- Check and validate SOF
- Be your representative when an incident happens or in cases of disputes

Since project cargo is and will remain the main our main business and due to our deep involvement in the shipping/logistics of the over sized cargoes transiting Romanian ports, the agency department has it’s part to coordinate/supervise smooth deliveries to/from vessels. Therefore, heavy lifters owe a definitory 60% of the agency work, with a number of about 130 vessels per year in ports of Constanta, Mangalia, Midia, Galati, Braila.
Considering that our principal business is project cargo, we are proud to see bulk carriers coming more and more under our agency. That happened due to the diversity of services offered to customers which went logically to obtaining also the ship’s agency on behalf of the Charterers. We work anually approx: 70000 mts of scrap, 45000 mts of fertilizers, 220000 mts clinker, 100000 mts grains.
