The construction of the cogeneration plant is the most significant project of the Kazakh-Romanian Energy Investment Fund (FIEKR), and it is a crucial pillar for both the Petromidia refinery and the national energy system. The complex industrial project was built in about 3 years.
Eastship was a logistic partner for this project, handling all details of the deliveries: unloading on modular trailers or specialised semi trailers, temporary storage on elephant legs, engineering, load calculations, lashing plans, detailed route surveys, permits and police escorts.
